Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School are seeking a highly qualified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgeon. As a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, the candidate will be actively involved in teaching and research in addition to clinical duties. Candidates must have completed an accredited orthopaedic residency training program, have a pathway to board eligibility and certification, and be eligible for licensure in Massachusetts. Proposed academic rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and academic achievements.
Clinical practice will be based at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in the heart of Boston’s Longwood Medical Area, with additional clinical opportunities available at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s affiliated partner hospitals and other outpatient sites.

Pay Range:
$250,000 - $800,000The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
