Summary :   To market and sell insurance through effective sales techniques and good customer service by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Contacts prospective clients via telephone and / or mail to develop them as new clients with follow-up as needed.
• Provides price quotes and insurance policy information to all new and existing clients as requested.
• Takes orders, relates new product information and receives feedback on the company's products and services.
• Delivers financial agreements immediately upon receiving them.
• Prepares monthly expense reports, new business prospects and applications.
• Updates all client data and "client notes" on computer system daily.
• Attends outside agency functions, seminars or training programs, banquets and other meetings as required.
• Verifies coverage and premiums on new business with follow-up prior to delivery.
• Maintains personal filing and routing slip requests as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Maintains established weekly and monthly goals for various lines of insurance as required.
• Prepares applications, proposals and marketing activity summary reports.
• Attends outside agency functions, seminars or training programs, banquets and other meetings as required.
• Verifies coverage and premiums on new business with follow-up prior to delivery.
