SQL Database Developer (Healthcare)

Work model : Hybrid; on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays in Tigard, OR.

About the Role

A mission-driven healthcare organization in the Portland metro area is seeking a SQL Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain a modern data infrastructure, including operational databases and an enterprise data warehouse—supporting analytics, reporting, and business intelligence across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Build and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines that move structured and unstructured data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, flat files).
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to power reporting and analytics.
• Architect and manage data marts , cubes, and warehouse schemas (e.g., dimensional modeling; star / snowflake).
• Monitor SQL Server performance and capacity; troubleshoot data integrity and performance issues.
• Deliver secure, efficient solutions in Power BI and Tableau , collaborating closely with BI and analytics partners.
• Uphold HIPAA and internal data governance standards; author and maintain technical documentation.
• Serve as a technical liaison, gathering requirements and supporting agile delivery plans.

Location & Schedule
