About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience required

License : Active RN license required

Certifications : Active AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Must-Have :

1 Year of Epic experience required.

Weekend coverage is required.

Experience with stepdown / PCU patient population is required.

Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration is required.

Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias is required.

Experience with oxygen administration and nasal cannula is required.

Familiarity with starting and maintaining IVs is required.

Description :

The position requires an active RN license along with current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

A minimum of 1 year of Epic experience is essential for consideration.

Staff may be required to float to other units based on patient census needs.

Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have demonstrated competency.

The primary patient population includes those requiring progressive care in a stepdown environment.

Daily patient census averages around 8 individuals with a staffing plan in place to support interdisciplinary needs.

All personnel must adhere to requirements for weekend coverage.
