Applied Scientist III

A company is looking for a Research Scientist III.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize fulfillment center topology to reduce costs and improve service

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop algorithms and improve product placement

Execute machine learning and modeling projects from ideation to production

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in building models for business applications

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python

Hands-on experience with optimization solvers like Gurobi or CPLEX

Graduate studies (MS / PhD) in a quantitative field such as engineering or computer science is preferred

Experience in applied machine learning and cloud deployment, preferably in the Azure ecosystem
