Job description

Automation Technician

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for automation and machinery? We're looking for a dedicated Automation Technician to join our overnight team and help keep our production running smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with cutting-edge equipment, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do :

  • Support a positive and productive work environment
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automation systems and components
  • Collaborate with production and scheduling teams to coordinate repairs
  • Stay active on the floor, providing hands-on support for automated equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Document daily tasks and follow established procedures
  • Ensure safety policies are followed at all times
  • Communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure smooth transitions

What We're Looking For :

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in machine maintenance or skilled trades
  • Ability to read and follow PLC logic, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Willingness to wear PPE and follow safe work procedures

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand or sit for 812 hours
  • Lift up to 40 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs regularly
  • Perform overhead and below-the-waist tasks
