Job descriptionProvide inpatient wound care and support in acute rehab settings, referring severe cases to the emergency department Manage outpatient Family Practice cases including cough, cold, flu, hypertension, diabetes, and general aches and pains Perform common procedures such as suturing, casting, and incision and drainage (I & D) Deliver patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient environments Minimum 3 years of Family Practice experience required Active California license required Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday to Friday, from 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, covering a mix of inpatient wound care and outpatient Family Practice cases.
