Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

Shifts : 12-Hour Day & Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend

Position Summary

As a Behavioral Health RN, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral challenges, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities :

Deliver direct patient care in accordance with treatment plans and physician orders

Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient behavior and physical health

Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions

Transcribe MD orders and review patient charts for accuracy and compliance

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support each patient’s care goals

Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and coping strategies

Qualifications :

Active, unencumbered RN license (required)

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Strong communication and assessment skills

Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries

Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings preferred
