• Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 48. OT after 48 hrs worked
• Shift Requirements : 12 hr day / night variables
• Float Requirements : will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units- possible float to other critical care units and other inpatient units as needed.
• On Call / Call Back Requirements : NA
• Weekend / Holiday Requirements : Every other weekend Every other holiday
• Required Certifications : WI RN License, BLS and ACLS. NIHSS preferred
• Minimum Experience : 2 years minimal with 1 travel assignment preferred : Med / Surg ICU and / or Neuro ICU background with strong assessment skills in Neuro REQUIRED
• Charting Experience : EPIC REQUIRED
• Unit Information : 8 bed Neuro unit with Neuro population from our Med / Surg ICU, this would include Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients. Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus . Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring would be needed.
• Primary case / Procedure Type : : Main procedures would be Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures (i.e. line placement, intubation). Neuro specific would include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery and in future state caring for Neuro interventional patients
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates : Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely
• Scrub Colors : any color Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours travelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census. If called back in, they will have call back pay. GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
