Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill an Accounting Manager role for a growing Reno based company. This position will manage processes and be responsible for the development and roll-out of new procedures at this start up, working closely with other teams within the organization.

Responsibilities will include :

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and prepare timely financial reports.
• Work with external vendors to manage commission income on third party sales, ensuring accuracy of this revenue stream.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Develop SOP’s and WI’s for the Accounting group.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with finance leadership.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage and optimize ERP systems and accounting software; implement improvements where needed.
• Support a variety of projects including processes & workflows, i.e. :

oDevelop and implement procedures for accurate Commission expense accrual and payment to 1099 and W2 reps.

oPartner with operations and supply chain to ensure accurate inventory valuation and controls.
