Ethos Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Reno, Nevada. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Required : BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association certs ONLY) NIHSS (APEX required before start) 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience. Must pass a telemetry competency exam to include identifying and measuring telemetry rhythms strips. Unit Description 29 bed unit that is staffed with RN's and CNA / CCT's. Staffing matrix is between 1 : 4-6 patients. Ancillary staff includes, but is not limited to, a Rapid Response Team, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, Respiratory Therapists, and Physical and Occupational Therapists. Patient population is a combination of tele and medical status patients, all tele patients are monitored remotely by a CCT.
