Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults (with some trauma cases) Patient Volume / Census : Avg. 10 calls / day Admissions : No Rounding : No (consults only) Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : ENT emergency surgeries and inpatient consults Beds : 162 Trauma Level : Facility 1 & 2 are Level 2; Facility 3 is not a trauma center EMR System : Epic Support Staff Available : ED and inpatient staff Reason for Coverage : Community call support Hospital Privileges Required : Yes (at all 3 locations) Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES : ENT-type emergency surgeries Licenses : NY license Board : Board Certified DEA : Required Experience : Minimum 3 years; must manage call for 3 hospitals Other Qualifications : Must be credentialed at the 3 locations Provide ENT call coverage at 3 hospitals Handle ED and inpatient consults No supervision of APPs or residents required
