Job descriptionPerform mechanical and visual inspections in receiving inspection First article inspection of parts and report discrepancies Perform quality audits using drawings and BOM documentation to maintain product standards Conduct final inspections to verify materials, processes, and overall quality before shipment Document all acceptances and discrepancies Coordinate with various departments : engineering, production, sales, and customer service Maintain quality records for evaluation of performance outside vendors and throughout internal processes Ensure compliance with customer documentation and report any in-process issues or discrepancies according to IPC standards High school diploma or GED IPC 610 Certification Required Minimum 1 year of quality inspection experience in high-tech companies Previous manufacturing experience required Soldering skills and component identification required Skilled in small hand measuring tools, test lights, and microscope work Ability to read, write, and perform basic math English : able to read, write, and comprehend instructions Accurately charts inspection and test data Able to repeatedly lift, stand, climb, and bend in a manufacturing setting Familiar with ISO9001, AS9100, or ISO13485 processes preferred
My client in the high-tech electronics industry is hiring for a Quality Control Technician. The person will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of products; first article inspections; interpret drawings, BOMs (bill of materials), and customer documentation; and perform other duties in alignment with IPC 600 / 610 and J Standard 001.
- This is a Day Shift, Temp.-to-Perm Contract position. Direct Hire for the ideal candidate.
