Job description24-Hour Call Coverage : Provide comprehensive OB / GYN services during scheduled call periods. Deliveries : Manage an average of 5 to 10 deliveries per week. Rounding : Perform both inpatient and outpatient rounding duties as needed. Patient Care : Serve 3-4 patients per shift in a 12-bed department. Admissions : Handle admissions as part of your call responsibilities. Privileges : Hospital or surgery center privileges are not required, but temporary privileges may be available if necessary. Board Certification : Board eligibility required in Obstetrics and Gynecology (certification preferred but not mandatory). Certifications : BLS and ACLS certifications required. Licensing : Must hold or be eligible for a Nevada state medical license. EMR System : Proficiency in the MEDHOST electronic medical records system is preferred. Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated credentialing time is approximately 30 days. Flexible Schedule : Enjoy a consistent schedule of 10 days of call per month, providing balance between work and personal life. Comprehensive OB / GYN Care : Manage a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic cases, from routine deliveries to more complex procedures.
