Psychiatrist (Civil & Forensic Patients) – Rusk, TX

Term : 3–6 months

Start Date : Immediate (preferably by November 1st)

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary recovery team in Rusk, Texas (45 minutes south of Tyler). This is a full-time, onsite position with the potential for limited telemedicine (1–2 days).

Position Highlights :

• Work with a caseload of 16–20 patients (civilly and forensically committed, non–maximum security).
• Inpatient setting with both acute and chronic patients.
• Majority male population, with the possibility of female patients on a separate ward.
• Collaborative environment with a full multidisciplinary team.
• No required call or duty shifts. Occasional court testimony may be necessary.
