Opportunity :

Sonographer - Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details :

  • Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures according to physician orders
  • Complete studies in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining quality standards
  • Work every Saturday with one weekday night on-call requirement
  • Must have 2+ years of sonographer experience
  • Registered Echo / Vascular Sonographer certification required
  • Required certifications : ARDMS, BLS (AHA)
  • Must be able to perform Echocardiograms with Definity Contrast
  • Must perform Echo and Vascular studies including TTE Echocardiograms, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, pericardiocentesis, Thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams
  • Able to start own IV required
  • MediTech experience required
  • Work with current equipment including 3 Philips CVX Epiq machines, 1 Philips Ellite Epiq machine and Vasculab ABI machine
  • Assist physicians in performing radiology procedures
  • Follow on-call policy by responding within acceptable time-frame and arriving within 30 minutes
  • Maintain supplies and equipment according to department guidelines
  • Follow dress code and appearance policies
  • Participate in required hospital and department in-services and meetings
