Job description

Position Summary :

This person is responsible for maintaining the entire company fleet to ensure all vehicles and machinery is road-safe and compliant with all Federal and State Laws.

Responsibilities and Duties :

This person is responsible for the following but is not limited to;

Inspects all vehicles weekly to ensure they are road safe

Ensures vehicle inspection logs are done and recorded weekly

Performs diagnostics and repairs or schedules any issues as they occur

Assists in maintaining the company fleet record for each vehicle and its services

Performs preventative maintenance on all vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, and buggies

Assists in maintaining an inventory sheet

Procures all parts and equipment needed

Procures and maintains in house materials

Create accounts with local vendors for procurement

Service and maintain all mechanical equipment

Keep a clean workspace

Coordinate vehicle maintenance and inspections with staff

Performs work in compliance of all state and federal regulations

Performs work safely and in compliance to OSHA standards

Ability to perform and organize a variety of tasks in an efficient manner

Coordinates and disposes of all oil or hazardous materials from vehicles properly

Performs service road calls as needed

Undercoats equipment and vehicles as needed to ensure longevity

Assists in the GPS installation in company fleet

Qualifications

Diesel engine repair

Air brake

Brake repair

Mechanic experience

Hydraulics

Suspension

Automotive repair

Transmissions

Class D

OSHA 10

Must pass DOT Physical

Must hold a valid Driver's License

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
