Senior Reimbursement Specialist

A company is looking for a Senior Reimbursement Specialist (Exempt).

Key Responsibilities

Gather and prepare data for filing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports

Coordinate audit activities related to third-party issues and assure appropriate reimbursement

Provide enrollment support for hospital providers and prepare various industry and payer surveys

Required Qualifications

BS Degree in Accounting or Finance

Five (5) years of experience in healthcare cost reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Preferred licensure : CPA or equivalent

Preferred certification : Certified Hospital Cost Reporting Specialist (CHCRS) within 24 months of hire
