As a Program Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing high-impact, strategic transmission projects. You'll help shape the early-stage development of a portfolio of initiatives that are critical to our long-term energy strategy. This role blends strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on coordinationideal for someone who enjoys learning, building relationships, and managing complex workflows.

You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are well-organized, analytically sound, and aligned with Eversource's vision as a leading provider of transmission.

The role is located in Hartford, CT or Westwood, MA.

Essential Functions :

• Responsible for all aspects of assigned strategic transmission and substation projects from early-stage development to hand off to Project Management Organization (prior to traditional project lifecycle)
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including System Planning, Engineering, Siting, Real Estate, Legal, Engagement, Regulatory Affairs, and more
• Ensures that all strategic solutions are vetted in a manner consistent with the Company's safety and procurement policies and programs
• Works with the appropriate departments to develop schedules and budget of strategic projects in early-stage development and is responsible for the implementation, prior to execution
• Supports development and documentation of Company Policies related to development and execution of strategic transmission projects addressing items such a feasibility, planning, siting, permitting, construction, etc.
• Focus on both internal and external collaboration
• Maintains familiarity with current and upcoming Policies and Programs that could facilitate Transmission Development
• Works with the Manager / Director to develop metrics by which to evaluate the success of transmission projects and collaborates with other Program Managers and Senior Program Managers within Strategic Project Development team when needed
• Facilitates discussions with key stakeholders to assure alignment and key information exchange to advance Strategic Transmission Projects
• Assists with representing Eversource Transmission on committees, groups, associations, or other efforts consistent with Strategic Projects
• Assists with representing Eversource Transmission at public meetings, regulatory hearings, town hall meetings and any special meetings that may occur
• Ensures Manager and Director of Strategic Project Development are briefed regularly on the status of job responsibilities for the development of strategic projects and status of action items
