Summary :

The main function of a data steward is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. A typical data steward is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.

Job Responsibilities :

• Hands-on Data Catalog Lifecycle Stewardship;
• Responsible for the monitoring and working with stakeholders to maintain the quality of the data catalog, key aspects being metadata completeness and accuracy;
• Assists the Collibra Data Governance Architect as necessary in development efforts;
• Provide data analysis support to GSK resources with data usage and the data analysis to support their data contracting efforts;
• Monitor catalog usage and provide training to end users as required Verbal and written communication skills,
• problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Knowledge of Collibra, database management software, and data governance practices.
• Education / Experience : Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
