Job Description
A confidential global energy company is seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide technical authority over machinery assets in a large-scale LNG and pipeline facility. This high-impact role supports both operations readiness and ongoing plant operations , ensuring world-class reliability, safety, and production performance.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the technical lead for machinery systems including heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, and large pumps.
Develop equipment criticality assessments, maintenance strategies, crash plans, and commissioning support during operations readiness.
Provide troubleshooting, failure analysis, and reliability improvements for rotating equipment across LNG and pipeline facilities.
Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions.
Support shutdown planning, operator care programs, and spare parts strategies.
Interface with project teams and vendors to optimize machinery performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain and update machinery documentation, KPIs, and program stewardship plans.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience : 8–20 years in rotating equipment roles within Oil & Gas, LNG, gas processing, or refinery operations.
Strong knowledge of gas / steam turbines, compressors, vibration monitoring, and related systems.
Familiarity with industry codes, safety standards, and Process Safety Management (PSM) practices.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) for facility access.
Proven success leading complex projects and collaborating across operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
