Vacancy : Junior Product Engineer – Miami, FL (Hybrid)

Overview

Our client is a leading US supplier of premium cosmetic packaging, specializing in glass containers and jars for skincare, fragrance, and personal care brands. They offer high-quality packaging solutions, custom decoration, and hands-on support throughout product development.

The Junior Product Engineer will support Product Development, gaining hands-on experience in sourcing, vendor management, and product development, with a clear progression path to ownership of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sourcing, sample evaluation, and project management for new / existing products.
  • Manage vendor communications and track sample / project progress.
  • Assist with technical and decorative sample evaluation, pricing, and product listings.
  • Handle logistics and troubleshooting with vendors and internal teams.
  • Act as the point of contact for sales inquiries regarding sourcing.
  • Conduct quality reviews of packaging / decoration samples and maintain QC records.

Work Schedule

  • Hybrid schedule : 3 days in the office, 2 days from home (specific days dependent on job duties).

  • Become the go-to person for evaluating samples, managing vendors, and overseeing sourcing projects.
  • Work closely with the Product Engineering Manager and gain hands-on mentorship.

    • Candidate Profile

  • Experience : 1–2 years in sourcing, vendor management, or product development (cosmetic packaging, plastics, or related industries preferred).
  • Education : Engineering or Business degree preferred.
  • Skills : Strong organization and communication, entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving, adaptable, comfortable in a hybrid setup.
