TBS, TNT and ID Network, part of Warner Bros. Discovery, is actively seeking an Off-Air Designer with expertise in Print and Digital. TBS is a leading entertainment network specializing in comedy programming and live sports. TNT is a premier entertainment network known for dramatic programming and extensive sports coverage. ID (Investigation Discovery) is the leading network for true crime documentaries and investigative content.

The Designer, Print / Digital position is responsible for the day-to-day design production of unique and creative design solutions that serve the company's strategic needs while maintaining brand consistency. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Brand Creative, Sr. Art Director, Sr. Designers and Social / Digital producers.
Candidates applying must have a strong design sense and show natural ability in working with layout, type and logo design. They must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment under tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
Design and execute high quality key art for use across all digital platforms.
Design show logos and branding for new shows
Concept and execution of digital design, including social media friendly layouts
Work with Sr. Designers and VP of Brand Creative to supply fresh ideas for digital / print materials while maintaining the network brand
Inform and consult on talent photo shoots, with an eye for how changes on set impact the overall design and execution of the project
Design print collateral for events and out-of-home executions
Must have strong communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to conceptualize and implement concepts ensuring design is in sync with the network s brand guidelines
Work closely with the Photography Department to develop ideas, manage and maintain the network brand.
Work closely with the Print Production Manager to keep all projects on time and on budget
Design On-Air IPMs
Assist in designing marketing presentations and slides (as needed)
Must Have Skills / Requirements
1) A Strong Brand a Key Art Examples
a. Portfolio required; 5+ years of experience.
2) Experience in Entertainment, Media, or Streaming Brand
a. 3+ years of experience.
3) Familiarity with Motion Design
a. 1+ years of experience; Examples of Key Art and Motion Graphic Design in Portfolio.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
1) Retouching ability and photo shoot experience a plus
Soft Skills :
1) Excellent grasp of great design and the ability to stretch creatively with each new project, while keeping in mind company objectives and strategic goals
2) Strong typography sense is a must
3) Conceptual thinker
4) Detail-oriented
5) Ability to work independently, as well in a team situation and with clients, working under pressure, and juggling multiple projects
6) Knowledge of prepress layout & print production
Technology Requirements :
1) Expert knowledge of all current graphic software including Adobe CC Suite, as well as Google Slides and Microsoft Powerpoint
Education / Certifications
1) BFA in Graphic Design and Advertising
Interview Process / Next Steps
1) 1st round with HM via Zoom (30-min)
2) 2nd round with HM in-person meeting near office for 1-hours screening.
