Chief Development Officer

Overview

Join to apply for the Chief Development Officer role at The BASE . Reporting to the President & CEO as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the CDO leads fund development, directly manages development staff and volunteers, and collaborates with the Board and relevant Committees to achieve the organization’s financial goals. The CDO will be a results-driven leader with a proven history of success in fundraising, including leading comprehensive campaigns, and will maintain a portfolio of major donors (individuals, foundations, and corporations). The ideal candidate will have fundraising and managerial expertise and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The CDO will work closely with the President & CEO, the Senior Leadership Team, Board members, and program staff to translate The BASE’s mission into major partnerships, events, and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage fund development staff and volunteers.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of major donors (individuals, foundations, and corporations).
• Lead or co-lead fundraising campaigns and contribute to strategy development.
• Collaborate with the President & CEO, Senior Leadership Team, Board, and program staff to translate The BASE’s vision into major partnerships, events, and initiatives.
