Position Summary
The Vice President of Tax will lead the strategic tax planning and compliance efforts across Cardone Ventures’ expanding portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and executing tax strategies that optimize cash flow, minimize liabilities, and ensure full regulatory compliance at the federal, state, local, and international levels. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in tax structuring, M&A, and SALT, and will serve as a key advisor on all tax-related matters. This leader will work cross-functionally and with external partners to establish best-in-class tax policies and reporting practices that support the company\'s rapid growth.

OBJECTIVES
Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize tax liabilities and optimize cash flowOptimally structure domestic and international portfolio investment transactions (M&A + Commercial Partnerships) from a tax perspectiveManage tax basis of holdings and investments as well as make recommendations on monetization strategies from a tax efficiency perspectiveWork closely with external tax advisors, auditors, and other professionalsEnsure accurate and timely preparation and filing of federal, state and local tax returns for the group companiesEnsure compliance with all tax regulations, filing deadlines and internal controls for the group companiesEstablish and maintain robust tax policies and procedures to minimize exposure and ensure complianceManage SALT strategy and compliance for the groupConduct tax research to stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulingsSupport of other tax related activitiesCOMPETENCIES
Mastery of international and US federal tax regulations and strategiesHigh level of proficiency with state and local tax regulationsAbility to effectively manage cost of programs and external service providersAbility to ensure timely, accurate tax filings and comprehensive reportingAbility to develop and implement effective tax strategiesClear and concise communication of complex tax issuesHigh level of competency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating tax risks to minimize potential financial and compliance exposureEducation And Experience
