Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a busy and well-established outpatient behavioral health department in Daytona Beach, Florida .
This full-time, permanent opportunity offers flexible office hours, a supportive interdisciplinary environment, and limited call (telephone only). The position provides the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, focusing on both mental health and substance use disorders.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adult and adolescent patients.
Conduct individual, family, and group therapy as appropriate to patient needs.
Collaborate within a team-based behavioral health environment that includes Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, LCSWs, LMHCs, Crisis Intervention specialists, Intensive Outreach programs, and Addiction Services (including a Suboxone clinic).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with clinical best practices.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
Support continuity of care through collaboration with primary care physicians and specialty services within the organization.
Qualifications
Education : MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification : Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry; active / eligible for Florida medical license.
Experience : Previous outpatient experience preferred; new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
Skills & Competencies :
Strong interpersonal, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Comfort working with both mental health and substance abuse populations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
