School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated LPN or RN to accompany a group of medically fragile students on their daily bus rides to and from school. This role requires availability Monday through Friday from 6 : 30am to 9 : 15am and 1 : 30pm to 3 : 45pm.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Provide and coordinate nursing care in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
  • Administer basic first aid and monitor students' health needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation.
  • Care for a student with asthma and monitor for seizures.

    • Qualifications Required :

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and current active LPN or RN licensure in Michigan.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Understanding of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • A minimum of one year of pediatric nursing experience.
  • Strong clinical skills, critical thinking ability, and effective communication skills.
