We are seeking a midlevel Private Equity associate. This position is open to our Charleston, Charlotte, Pittsburgh and Raleigh offices. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of private equity experience, including the corporate aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and day-to-day operations involving Private Equity portfolio companies. A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required. The successful candidate will work with a variety of national and international clients, as well as with K&L Gates lawyers across the firm's global platform. Therefore, the ability to work flexible hours is critical.

Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.

Base Compensation $235,000 - $360,000 / year

The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. #LI-MM2
