Countertop Fabricator (1st Shift and 3rd Shift)

L.E. Smith is looking for a 3rd Shift Fabricator 9 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 AM Sunday through Wednesday.  A Fabricator plays a vital role in the success of our business; you will work with a team to fabricate countertops using various hand tools, such as routers, sanders, pneumatic staple guns, and hand files.

Responsibilities :

• Operating sanders, miter saws, table saw, and routers
• Cutting and assembling countertops to specified sizes
• Cutting and applying build-up
• Banding countertops
• Fabrication of applied edge tops
• Installation of sinks into countertops
• Gluing and laying laminate
• Cutting and finishing backsplashes.
• Applying adhesive and silicone for solid surface tops
• Filing / sanding and cleaning tops for final quality check
• Basic CNC Machine operation
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas
