Role – Estimator

Deliver timely, accurate estimating across all Desert Services lines (SWPPP, temporary fence, roll-offs, portable restrooms, street sweeping, water trucks, site cleaning). You’ll handle 25+ bids per week with clean handoff on award and proactive follow-ups with GCs and supers.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate at
• Prepare lump sum, unit-rate, and T&M quotes; target 20+ per week.
• Scope &
• Review plans / specs, photos, and site info; occasional site walks / pre-cons for larger or specialty jobs.
• Pricing within
• Use DS standard price sheet; adjust within pre-approved ranges; escalate exceptions for approval.
• Vendor / sub
• Solicit pricing where needed (disposal, materials, rentals).
• Bid packaging &
• Issue timely, accurate proposals; follow up to close.
• Market
• Track labor / material trends; flag pricing updates.
• Quality &
• Keep estimating and CRM files tidy; maintain historical data.
