Position Summary
The Visual Merchandising Specialist is part of the Product Development team. This role contributes to the success of the company by styling, processing and displaying merchandise in showrooms, tradeshows, and other events to ensure that all displays are aesthetically pleasing per company brand standards. The Specialist provides creative merchandising support to departments and divisions on a variety of projects.
Major Duties Include
- Performs display updates, replenishes missing samples, carries out daily touch-ups, and ensures Miami FOH Inc. showroom displays are tidy, fresh, and ready for customer appointments
- Resets displays after customer meetings and merchandising projects
- Scans product barcodes to create order item lists, organizes the spreadsheet and adds notes where needed
- Supports in presetting trade show displays
- Coordinates cross-departmental projects with Creative, Marketing, Finance, Workspace, and Sales
- Creates and provides planogram and visual display photos to reps for new item introductions and ongoing merchandising requests
- Works to create visual directives, communicates merchandising standards, and projects the brand image in alignment with the organization’s culture
- Coordinates signage with signage development and installation for new items and promotions
- Facilitates purchasing of props, merchandising materials, furniture, etc.
- Learns to enter sample orders in SAP and follows the company order processing SOP
- Decorates the HQ office seasonally and manages decorations and related purchases
- Promotes FOH culture in all interactions
Education, Experience & Computer Skills
Associate degree in visual merchandising or related field preferredMinimum of 1+ years in a visual merchandising roleProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Skills Needed for Success
