Key Responsibilities
- Holistic Player Development : Plan and lead dynamic practices focused on skill mastery, high-level teamwork, and volleyball IQ. Your coaching will go beyond the court to provide individualized feedback that helps each athlete develop their unique strengths and leadership.
- Game Day Leadership : Coach with a clear strategy and a positive mindset during tournaments and games. Use every in-game situation as a teaching moment to enhance player development and promote team chemistry.
- Mission-Driven Communication : Serve as a transparent and reliable point of contact for players and their families. Use our systems to maintain strong communication and ensure everyone is aligned with the team's and our program's core mission.
- Brand Mission & Representation : Be a visible leader for Blur Volleyball and Polar Athletic Group. Your professionalism and commitment to our mission will be crucial in fostering a positive, welcoming environment for our entire community.
- Athlete Well-being : Prioritize a positive, low-burnout environment. Promote physical fitness and overall well-being, ensuring athletes can pursue their passion for volleyball in a healthy, sustainable way.
Qualifications
A passion for both volleyball and our mission of developing young people through sport.Proven coaching experience with a strong understanding of volleyball fundamentals and advanced concepts.The ability to inspire and build confidence in players of all skill levels.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset.A background check is required. First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.Compensation
Compensation will be competitive and based on experience. We are committed to investing in our coaches and offer opportunities for professional growth and development as we build this new model of youth sports together.
