The Department of General Obstetrics & Gynecology
is seeking an experienced physician who is committed to an academic
career in General Obstetrics & Gynecology. The position will
hold a rank of Assistant Professor and will be based at
NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in Manhattan, NY.
Under the direction of the Site Chief,
the Obstetrician & Gynecologist will :
Provide clinical care in
an outpatient setting including antepartum visits, preventive and
problem-based gynecologic care and performing office procedures.
Participate in an in-house Labor &
Delivery call coverage and deliver obstetrical patients in our
family focused maternity center, providing over 2000 deliveries
annually.
Care for antepartum and postpartum
inpatients.
Perform gynecologic surgeries.
Participate in continuing medical education
and department quality initiatives.

is commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus excellent

Base Salary
Range : $330,000-400,000
provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York
City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary
range listed is for full-time employment not including bonuses,
clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries
depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to
internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital / community needs.
Qualifications :
Qualified candidates must have a medical degree, successfully
completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology
residency program and be board eligible or board certified in
obstetrics and gynecology. The candidates must have or be able to
obtain a valid New York State Medical License and possess a
commitment to excellence and teaching.
