Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs\nIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions\nProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient\nPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record\nResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient\nPerforms timely and accurate QI assessments

What we are looking for\nApplicants should have a current state RN license.\nBachelors degree preferred but not required\nAdditional requirements include : \n
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.\n
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.\n
One year of experience preferred
Tier 1 Float to : Nephrology / Oncology (NEON); 4N; Neuro Progressive Care Unit; Nursing Rehab; Telemetry;\nProgressive Stepdown Unit (IMCU); Surgical Unit\nCertifications Required for Tier I : \nNEON : BLS required\n4 North : BLS required\nNPCU : BLS required. ACLS and NIH within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.\nRehab : BLS required\nTelemetry : BLS required. ACLS within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.\nIMCU : BLS required. ACLS and NIH within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.\nSurgical : BLS required.\nTier I : $54.81
Tier 2 : Meet all Tier 1 criteria and be competent to float to two(2) of the specialty areas : Cardiovascular Unit\n(CVICU); Critical Care Unit (CCU); Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU); Emergency Department (ED);\nLabor / Delivery / Recovery (L&D)\nCertifications Required for Tier 2 : \nCVICU : BLS required. ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.\nCCU : BLC required. ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.\nNICU : BLC required. ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.\nED : BLS required. ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into\nthe position., ASLS and TNCC preferred.\nLDRP : BLS required. ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer\ninto the position.\nNursery : BLS required. NRP within three months of hire or transfer into the position.\nTier II : $60.90\nMinimum Work Experience\nAt least two (2) years experience as a Registered Nurse required (unless previous LPN experience).
