About The Position

Position : Locum Tenens Neurologist

Location : South Bend, Indiana

Start Date : Flexible

Duration : Ongoing / flexible dates available

Setting : Outpatient Hospital-Based Neurology Clinic

💰 Compensation & Benefits :

Hourly Rate : $340 / hr

Comprehensive malpractice coverage included

Complimentary travel, lodging, and mileage

📅 Schedule :

Days : Monday–Friday (flexible days)

Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (last patient at 4 : 30 PM) or 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (last patient at 4 : 00 PM)

Patient Volume : 10–16 patients / day

Practice Focus : 99% outpatient, 100% adult

🏥 Practice Details :

Primary Need : EEG interpretation and Evoked Potentials

Solo Neurologist on-site during assignment (no other neurologists present)

Support Staff : 6 neurodiagnostic colleagues (2 registered EEG techs)

Onsite Services : Lab, X-ray, and Nihon Kohden EEG equipment

EMR : Epic

✅ Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

Active Indiana Medical License

Active BLS Certification

Comfortable independently reading EEGs and Evoked Potentials

Clean professional record preferred for quick onboarding
