Job Summary :
The AM Line Cook is responsible for managing and executing food preparation and cooking activities within a designated station in the kitchen. This role ensures that all dishes are prepared to the restaurant's standards, maintaining high-quality food and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
Oversee and manage a specific station (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry) within the kitchen.
Inspect ingredients and finished dishes for quality and presentation.
Assist in managing inventory levels for the station.
Work closely with other line cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
Address and resolve any issues that arise during service, including equipment malfunctions or ingredient shortages.
