Kitchen Utility Worker - Dishwasher

Are you looking for a part-time evening position in a fast-paced, friendly environment? We’re hiring Kitchen Utility Workers for a local cafeteria in Eau Claire, WI! This temporary role offers part-time, on-call, as needed hours, and a starting pay of $16.50 / hour.

Position – Kitchen Utility / Dishwasher

Job Location – Eau Claire, WI

Starting Date – Immediately

Employment Term – Temporary until end of school year

Employment Type – Part-Time, On-Call, As Needed

Work Hours (Shift) – Evenings 5 : 00pm-11 : 00pm

Starting Pay – $16.50 / Hour

The Kitchen Utility Worker ensures cleanliness and organization in a local cafeteria kitchen. Responsibilities include cleaning dishes, equipment, and work areas, managing trash removal, and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and sanitizes dishes, equipment, work surfaces, and floors to maintain a hygienic workspace.
  • Handles trash and garbage removal, ensuring designated areas remain tidy and organized.
  • Transfers and organizes supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Follows Sodexo HACCP policies, food safety guidelines, and attends required training programs.
  • Performs additional tasks as needed, such as washing pots, polishing silver, and maintaining sanitation standards.

  • Maintains a highly professional demeanor and recognizes the importance of honesty and strong ethics in every interaction.
  • Demonstrates the ability to consistently maintain a positive attitude.
  • Capable of communicating professionally and respectfully with coworkers and other departments.
  • Proficient in basic computer use.
