The Role

As aQualityAssuranceAnalystII you havea solid foundation in software testing and a strong drive for quality. As a mid-level QA professionalyouplay a key role in planning designing and executing manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality and stability of our public safety willcollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality across the software development lifecycle .This role will be aligned with Incident response and CADproducts and will be on the front lines of driving quality for police and fire workwill have a direct impact on providing excellent services to our customers and the citizenry theyrepresent.

What You ll Do

• Design develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans based on product requirements and user stories.
• Evaluate that test case acceptance criteria has been met.
• Identify document and track software defects through resolution.
• Participate in code reviews design sessions and other Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with developers product managers and DevOps teams to ensure product quality throughout the release cycle.
• Analyze test results generate reports and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance test scripts frameworks and automation suites.
• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to improving QA best practices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support teamobjectives departmental needs and overall organizational priorities.

This position requires security clearances due to the nature of our work with public safety agencies. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must successfully obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of Canada. Additionally candidates must comply with the FBIs Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy and pass a comprehensive fingerprint-based background check.
