Position Description :

Trinity Valley School seeks Part-time Cashier / Retail Café Staff to join the TVS Dining Hall for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. Monday through Friday 9am to 2pm. Weekends and Holidays off. $15 / hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Log in and open register using computer and an I-pad. Must be familiar and comfortable with computers. We do NOT exchange money. We only use a system where we charge student accounts so it is important to be accurate.
• Must be able to keep track of inventory and communicate with Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef as to what you need to complete your job.
• Knows and complies with set standards, techniques, portion control, kitchen rules, policies and procedures
• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, kitchen equipment and refrigeration areas
• Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
• Adheres to opening and closing checklists.
• Performs other kitchen related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
• Familiarizes themselves with the student and faculty population at Trinity Valley.
