Responsibilities Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Provides care for high-risk OB patients and serves a culturally diverse patient population RNs circulate on cesarean sections as part of regular duties Night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 18 : 00 to 6 : 30 Every other weekend is required Floating may be required to similar units or nearby sister facilities Uses Epic for charting and documentation No on-call responsibilities Responsibilities include care for laboring patients, circulating for C-sections, and managing high-risk OB cases First-time travelers are welcome to apply Must be willing to float to other units or affiliated hospitals if needed Holiday coverage required for at least two of the following : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's RTO must be disclosed at time of application; limited RTO is preferred Solid color scrubs are required, typically Royal Blue or Navy Free parking is available and assignment parking will be provided during orientation Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required At least 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required Epic charting experience required Must provide at least two supervisory references from the past three years in a comparable setting Pending licenses not accepted Must not have been employed at the facility in the past 3 months if returning as a traveler Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility for eligibility as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632104.
