We continue to grow and are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the team, machinery and facilities.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production tools, machinery and facilities to ensure efficiency in the day to day operations.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Plan and arrange the sequence of own work to promote efficient operations, meet schedules and expedite special jobs in the midst of constantly changing priorities.Knowledge of all plant equipment.Knowledge of all building and facilities equipment including daily Boiler room control responsibility.Track Preventative Maintenance (PM) records on all equipmentUnderstanding of PM on all equipmentMaintain materials inventories to support PM schedule, production needs and facilities needsWork closely with management to complete plant and building projectsWork closely with all production employees to maintain production needsMaintain cost effective repair procedures and efficient labor efforts to complete projectsAttend beneficial seminars and classes to gain information on the latest technologiesKnowledge of tool upkeep, troubleshooting and repairOutside responsibilities including painting, shoveling snow and perimeter upkeep and misc. cleaning.Immediately notify supervision of any potential or actual maintenance or safety problemsWork flexible hours to meet company needsAssist other departments as necessaryMaintain a safe work environment. Use all safety equipment (hard hats, gloves, eye protection, lock out / tag out etc.) as needed per job.Required skills, abilities and qualifications :
High ethicsHigh school diploma or equivalentA good working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and preventative maintenanceGood communications and interpersonal skillsAttention to detailGood Communication skills- both verbal, written and email correspondenceAbility to read blue prints and electrical schematicsA demonstrated ability to work accurately and manage time in the most productive mannerA demonstrated history of trustworthiness and good judgment
