The cook prepare the delicious, quality food our brand is known for. The ideal cook is a food expert, cares about the details, and remains calm in the face of multiple, complicated tickets, must be flexible with hours.
Responsibilities :
Properly setting up and taking down stationCooking raw and prepared foods, including meat and eggs, to orderProperly labeling, dating and filling pansCleaning, organizing, and maintaining refrigerators, cooler drawers, and dry storage areasTaking inventory and stocking / restocking itemsCommunicating with fellow staff members to ensure quality product and ticket timesAdjusting to high-pressure situationsUnderstanding and complying with food safety and temperature standardsMaintaining a professional and calm demeanor alwaysQualifications :
Current Food Handler certificates1-2 year of experience preferredAbility to carry at least 30 lbs.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to cook different temperatures of steak and burgerAbility to work in fast-paced environmentsAble to multitask and organizeAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to reach, bend, squat and lift while on the shiftAbility to withstand frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme coldKnowledge of kitchen equipmentHigh School Diploma / GEDBenefits :
