About The Position

License : Active RN license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Cardiac and Neuro experience required.

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Required to work every other weekend.

Description :

The position is for a registered nurse specializing in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

The shift will be 3 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Holidays will be part of the rotation.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 2.

The candidate must have experience in both cardiac and neuro care.

First-time travelers will not be accepted.

Candidates must have active certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

The role includes managing complex patient needs, including ventilated patients.

Additional skills required are managing central lines, arterial lines, and titration of medications.

Travelers may need to float to similar units as needed.

All requested time off must be included at the time of submission.

No local candidates will be accepted for this position.

Compliance with emergency response teams during hurricane season is mandatory.
