Superintendent - Paving

Job Description

Metric Geo are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a background in asphalt paving to join a leading heavy civil contractor in the Jacksonville, FL area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, overseeing paving crews, equipment, and daily operations. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring projects are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements :

• Direct and supervise asphalt paving crews and field operations on active projects
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain schedules
• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and clients
• Minimum 5 years of paving or heavy civil construction supervisory experience
