Oncology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide locum services in an outpatient oncology setting in Los Angeles, CA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NP looking for full-time coverage starting January 26, 2026.

Job Details:

Specialty: Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Clinic

Setting: Oncology clinic (no call)

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday Friday

8:00 AM 5:00 PM (5x8 schedule)

Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential to extend or convert to perm

Start Date: January 26, 2026 (credentialing required)

Patient Volume:

Mon/Fri: 5 6 patients

Tues: patients

Wed/Thu: patients

Patient Population: Adults

Charting Software: Epic (Beacon module for oncology)

Support Staff: Physicians and front office team

Requirements:

Active California NP license (required)

DEA (required)

Board Certification: FNP, ARNP

Preferred certifications: OCN or AOCN

Required: ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification

Minimum 2 years recent outpatient oncology experience (internal medicine experience a plus)

Must be comfortable with:

Chemotherapy management

Ordering imaging and complex labs (CT, MRI, PET scans)

Epic experience required

Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: days

Completion of facility-specific forms and verifications required

Interview with department leadership
