Senior Staff Engineer, Electrical Design

Are you a subject matter expert in power design with a passion for innovation? Do you have the drive to lead complex electrical engineering projects from concept to manufacturing? Celestica is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Power Engineer to join our team.

This is a leadership role for a hands-on engineer. You will be the technical authority for power systems, leading the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions for various applications, including high-performance computing, networking, and storage products. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our customer\'s next-generation hardware.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

As our Senior Staff Power Engineer, you will lead the charge on challenging electrical design projects. Your key responsibilities include :

• Lead Technical Design : Serve as the technical expert for power systems, designing new electrical circuits and capturing them in schematics and system specifications.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) : Provide technical direction and guidance to a global team of engineers. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing complex system tradeoffs and recommending innovative solutions.
• Drive Project Execution : Take responsibility for the technical and non-technical elements of a project, including planning, scheduling, and managing relationships with key vendors, partners, and customers.
• Validate and Qualify Systems : Use advanced simulation tools like PSPICE and LTSPICE to test, validate, and qualify your designs. You will troubleshoot performance issues and provide support throughout the entire manufacturing process.
• Customer Engagement : Act as a primary technical contact for customers, interpreting their requirements and presenting technical proposals and solutions.
