NP / PA Outpatient Neurosurgery - Click and Apply Now!

Position Summary

  • Utilizes advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to devise and implement patient management activities.
  • Fosters educational development of patients and families.
  • Provides health care consulting.
  • Demonstrates support of research.
  • Provides leadership in areas of clinical expertise.
  • Maintains and advances knowledge and skills in areas of specialization.
  • Participates in Quality Assessment and Improvement activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Board of Nursing approved Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant program.
  • NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or as a Physician Assistant; National Board Certification as an NP / PA required.
  • More than 1 years experience in a health care setting.
  • May substitute NP / PA with no previous experience as NP / PA if they have clinical experience in an acute care setting with direct patient care for a minimal of 2 years.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
