Job descriptionPerform Daily inspection of both hydraulic and friction cranes per API RP 2 D. Load and unload vessels in static and dynamic situations. Work as directed by lead operator on each platform. In addition, you may be required to perform non-crane related duties at any of DCOR’s facilities to troubleshoot oil and gas processing equipment, maintain production, and provide assistance as required. Provide assistance to crane mechanics when needed. Insure that rigging is inspected and adequate for the lift being made. Hold a current API rigging card. Have and maintain proper qualifications for the operation of hydraulic and friction cranes. Any and all other duties that may be assigned Must be qualified under applicable regulations and required fit testing Required to wear personal protective equipment which may include self-contained breathing apparatus Prolonged periods of standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and crawling Work on an offshore oil platform in close quarters – maintain satisfactory hygiene to work and live with others onboard Lift, lower, push, and pull equipment and tools Work in confined / restricted working environment Work at elevated heights, in enclosed spaces and on uneven walk surfaces Climb ladders, stairs, and ramps Operate rotating equipment and machinery safely to maintain production processes Operate power, pneumatic hand tools Ability to work varying (day and night) shifts, additional hours and / or overtime depending operation service needs Have a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing, and / or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions Concentrate and focus to monitor and observe for safety and environmental issues, including, for example, hazardous gas leaks and oil spills Analyze and respond promptly to safety and environmental issues in a sound and timely manner Satisfactorily pass Fit for Duty Physical Obtain and maintain Swing Rope Certification High School diploma or equivalent 5 to 15+ years of previous crane operator experience Ability to work well in a team / crew environment Basic computer and recordkeeping skills Physically fit to perform “fit for duty test”

Note : Estimated annual pay based on an hourly schedule; $85K-$115K
PURPOSE :
This position provides crane operations for offshore platform and onshore facilities cranes and other lifting and hoisting equipment in accordance with company policies and applicable regulatory statutes. Work is performed on a project and day-to day basis. This position also provides on call support for critical projects and logistics requirements to allow for continuous 24-hour, 7 days per week operations.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
- Perform crane operations for cranes and other lifting and hoisting equipment located on all assets
- Performs all lifts onto and off facilities and ensures all rigging meets the API RP 2D criteria and company policy
- Provide support for maintenance and repair of oil well rigs as needed
- Work as directed by Crane Supervisor, Lead Operators, Rig Supervisors, Lead Crane Mechanic, and Maintenance Foreman
- Helps with basic crane maintenance, checks, and assists in keeping repair records and files as required.
