Automation Technician (Off Shifts)

Our Automation Team is responsible for creating innovative solutions that address the needs our Production Team. We do this through sustaining existing equipment and integrating new technologies and methodologies to deliver existing and new-to-world products, and product enhancements. We work together with our operators through observation, interviews, and research, making them part of the solution process. Together we ensure quality and productivity standards are maintained ensuring our customers receive the value they deserve. Working cross functionally, we perform a wide variety of automation, engineering, and manufacturing, tasks including root cause analysis, 3D modeling, mathematical simulation, and rapid prototype development.

Off Shift Hours :

2nd shift : 3 : 00 P.M. - 11 : 00 P.M. or 3rd shift : 11 : 00 P.M. - 7 : 00 A.M.

How YOU will serve :

• Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair production robotics, automation, and interfaces.
• Establish and perform preventative maintenance.
• Communicate and collaborate with maintenance and production to ensure timely line setup / change-over.
• Collaborate with other teammates in technical solutions and implementation.
• Lead and develop skills of automation staff and assist in directing work and assignments.
• Design and develop automated systems for continuous improvement and new product development.
• Specific electrical components and design electrical panel layouts.
• Create system documentation including BOM, operational instructions, and maintenance schedule.
• Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Adhere to timelines and excel in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
• Participate in continuous process improvement to increase production efficiencies.
• Participate in training and classes as directed.
• All other duties as assigned.
