As a Program Operations Accountant you will assist all programs at agency to control expenses and maximize resources. In this position You will utilizes education and training to make sound business decisions, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations. It leverages knowledge of programmatic requirements, financial systems, policies, and processes, exercising discretion and independent judgment in projects and business operations.

Minimum Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Preferences : Governmental accounting experience / knowledge; One (1) year of supervisory experience

Substitutions : High School Diploma / GED and six (6) years' experience

Experience : Two (2) years in accounting

License / Certifications : Valid Texas Driver's License
